NORMANDY LANDING BEACHES PRIVATE D-DAY TOUR
Option 1 'classic tour': We will start this D-Day Normandy tour with the Pointe du Hoc, where Colonel James Rudder and its US rangers had to achieve an impressive and almost impossible mission by climbing the cliffs. We will then drive along Omaha Beach, walk on the beach, show you both the American and the German perspective, then visit the American cemetery in Colleville sur Mer. At the end of the afternoon, we will visit the gun batterie of Longues sur Mer and finally stop at Arromanches (Gold beach) before returning to Paris. Tour duration: approximately 12 hours
Option 2 'American beaches': we start this D-Day tour in Utah beach, then drive to Sainte Mère Eglise to visit the 82nd airborne museum. Our next stop will be the Pointe du Hoc, where Colonel James Rudder and its US rangers had to achieve an impressive and almost impossible mission by climbing the cliffs. We will then drive along Omaha Beach, walk on the beach, and visit the American cemetery in Colleville sur Mer. If time permits, at the end of the afternoon, we will visit the gun batterie of Longues and stop at Arromanches (Gold beach/British sector) before returning to Paris. Tour duration: 13 hours
