Giverny guided tour - Private Giverny tour from Paris with a licensed guide
Book a Giverny Monet gardens private tour with your expert guide: after being picked up at you accommodation in Paris, enjoy a lovely escape to visit Monet's property at Giverny, where Claude Monet lived half of his life (between 1886 and 1926). Left by his son Michel to the Académie des Arts in 1966, Monet's estate will reopen in 1980, after extensive renovations.
In Giverny your licensed guide will give you a private guided visit of the Clos Normand flower garden: each season brings its variety of blooming flowers and trees, you will enjoy a feast of colours : its yellow irises, forget-me-nots, tulips, nasturtiums, lis, peonies, roses and... so much more! You will also visit the Japanese inspired water garden on the other side of the road, the wisteria covered Japanese bridge and the famous water-lily pond created by deriving the Ru river . Relive Monet's life, learn about the quite unusual personal life of the master of impressionism, his strong personality, his struggles and his passions and influences. Visit the pink house, decorated in the same colour schemes that Monet admired and recapture its atmosphere and charms of times past.
All our tour guides are fully licensed and allowed to comment in the gardens. They can not speak inside Monet's house, therefore all the explanations regarding the house will be given to you before you enter the house). The drive between Paris and Giverny is approximately one hour. We usually pick you up at 8:30am in the morning and at 1:30pm in the afternoon.
As a reminder we only give private Giverny guided tours (we do not give any group tours, shared with other clients).

Monet's property is closed during the winter.

Our guide will purchase the tickets ahead of time for you to be able to skip the lines
