Orangerie Museum Tour: from Monet to Picasso

From Claude Monet’s Nymphéas - evoking Impressionism - to works by some of the most important artists of this period - Douanier Rousseau, Modigliani, Picasso, Matisse and Soutine - the museum’s masterpieces help us understand the pictorial innovations of modern art.

Visit of the Water lillies and  the highlight of Jean Walter - Paul Guillaume collection, to select from: twenty-five works by Auguste Renoir, fifteen works by Paul Cézanne, and one each by Paul Gauguin, Claude Monet and Alfred Sisley, all from the Impressionist period.
